Dear Family and Friends -
Namaste |
This morning I met with friends and we chanted "Om Namah Shivaya" three hundred and twenty-four times. Personally to me this chant is saying "I bow to my true Self." Even if I repeated "I bow to my true Self" three hundred and twenty four times in English, it will take me into an altered place of consciousness - to remembering that I/you do indeed have a True Self - and that Self is a pretty damn special. I take to heart the meaning of words such as aloha or namaste - which in a greeting says "I see the love that is in you which is also in me."
So to begin this new year I say to you - Aloha and Namaste . . . and Om Namah Shivaya - I bow to your true Self . . .
As a companion book to Shambala - The Path to Paradise, I have put together a collection of my poetry and short stories called Many Gods, One Heart. I selected this verse to share as we enter the auspicious year of 2012.
Living love |
As long as I can remember
I’ve wanted to see the can’t see Me
I’ve always wanted to step out of the box
Look under, over, and into it.
I’ve wanted to open my story book
And reveal the reason for my being
I am ready for dreamtime
That’s what the shaman do
They journey into the mystery
JB - the day before he left Chiang Mai |
That is where want to go
I want to merge into the oneness
To have visions and allow words of wisdom
To flow through me
I want to share the revelations of love
I don’t care to be anyone else
I only want to be my Self.
The beautiful, eternal, wonderful Me.
Exactly as I was designed to Be
As long as I can remember
I’ve wanted to see the can’t see me
Maybe today I will surrender to the realization
That I Am the Revelation of Love
Come true
As I see you
Aloha & Namaste
With great love and blessings for the New Year,
the revelation of love |
